The MZ Generation, born between the early 1980s and the early 2010s, is characterized by their familiarity with digital environments and individualistic tendencies. They are reshaping workplace culture by emphasizing respect for personal values and individuality while preferring autonomous workflows and flexible working conditions.
So, what kind of colleagues does this value-driven, individualistic generation prefer in the workplace?
Human Consulting Group (HCG), a HR total solution platform provider led by CEO Jaehyun Park, recently unveiled statistics on MZ generation perceptions of workplace colleagues, derived from its all-in-one HR SaaS platform, talenx.
Analyzing over 200,000 feedback data points exchanged among colleagues from over 100 client companies using talenx, the most preferred characteristic among MZ-generation colleagues turned out to be “collaboration and teamwork”, accounting for 33.4% of all feedback.
